axis neck pocket?

I am shopping for a axis or axis super sport guitar.The last 2 that I have looked at ,both in music stores have had cracks in the body right in the corner of the neck pocket.Is this a common problem with these guitars?

Do recall that in the future, people can be directed to (or should be reading, for starters ) the FAQ thread. This item is listed in there with a well oiled description of the issue.

I'd like to note that I own SIX Axises, two Albert Lees, a Silhouette and a Silhouette Special, and only two of them have finish cracks on the neck pocket... and those two are two of the best sounding guitars in my collection...

...so, no big deal
