The axis has a floyd rose trem that sits on the body so it only bends down. Also single volume and 3 way switch.
The super sport has the same basswood body with figured top but you can get it with a vintage trem or fixed bridge. It has added tone controll and 5-way switch. Also the super sport is available with p-90 pickups or as a semi-hollow body. The p90 model has an ash body with maple top.
I have a few of both. Same pickups(HH models). 5 way switch on Ass makes it slightly more versatile, but it depends on what style of music you're playing. I prefer the vintage trem on the Ass, but I'm not a "deep diving" kind of guy. Either way, they're both amazing guitars.
