Axis question

Hi,
I'm new to the forum but I've been reading it for some time, I think it is great. I decided to buy an Axis, but I have a question. What are the 2 "holes" located just at the bottom of the back of the headstock? I guess it's something related with the floyd rose since there are no such things in the other models of Music Man. Thanks
