Axis Sport necks?

I love my Axis Super Sport maple-neck guitar - but wish it had a rosewood neck.

Aside from ebay, does anyone know a way I can buy a music man rosewood neck? (or a good 'copy')

It's hard to fork over $400 for some necks I see on ebay -- knowing that I can get a used axis for just a couple hundred dollars more.

there's no official source. they do pop up from time to time on here & ebay. ive seen, maybe, 3 in the last few years so they're pretty hard to come by

or you could buy my rosewood super sport if u want

They're out there: I bought two RW ASS's on eBay this year. One hard tail and one trem. The trem one was definitely harder to find. There were about three hard tails for every trem I found.

Ah, I misunderstood. That would be a bit more tricky.

As Arin says ... they're out there. I bought 4 necks the other year and have since sold them. So they do come up infrequently.

Yeah ... really, you either have to be very resourceful, or just sell it and replace the guitar with a RW necked one.
