Is the Axis Sport model (not Super Sport) discontinued? I couldn't find any info on it on the EBMM site. I am in the market for an Axis & want to do some research on the various models.

I much prefer the Axis w. the Floyd but I like rosewood fret boards.

From what I have seen the Axis sport has a plain top & no binding on the body. Does anyone know what woods are used for the body of the Axis Sport?

Sports (Made of Ash) are Discontinued
Sports and Supers get the vintage trem only.
There were some Axes (plural of Axis) made with rosewood boards but not any more.
There is a new totally rosewood axis. If you search this forum for NAMM threads you should find a pic somewhere.

Hope this answered your questions accurately.
