I was wondering if EB would ever bring back the axis sports..wouldn*t it be nice to have a sport with a bevel for the picking arm..I have 3 of em and i luv em ,and play em to death..for me they would be the perfect guitar..with a bevel .I have the AL and SILSP,and find them more comfortable...but I like the axis vibe.Theycan*t do it with the axis ss cuz of the top..I think..just dreaming..

I absolutely love the look, tone and vibe of the Axis... The reason why I never bought one is the lack of a right arm contour and its less than perfect ergonomics when playing sitting down. These days the also seem to lack a low B string - but that's a different story alltogether ;)

I'm still in love with my Axis Sport MM90. So different from the regular Axis and such an awesome tone.

Axis sports rock, honestly think they would sell pretty well if they were ever to be re-introduced. I'd get a rad red hardtail

I gotta agree sorta. I played my buddie's ASS tonight as a matter of fact (hard tail, premium quilt top, beautiful).

The one thing that stuck out was that square-ass edge where your picking arm rests. Not a big deal when seated but kind of annoying when standing.

He said he's used to it since he was always a Telecaster player before joining the Church of EBMM. :D

I am partial to the sport/ss with the mm90s..the sport is the twangiest axe in my fleet..the ss with 90s seems mellower..both with rosewood...both2000*s..both with trem......the twangmaster is opaque fire engine red,the ss has a knockout quilt in an emerald green..both have just enuf birdseye...really nice guitars
