I am still learning about the Axis line but, I do think that the Sports with pickguards are somewhat rare because they were only made for a short period. There is also very little info on this forum about Axis Sports with pickguards. Does anyone have any idea how many were made? I guess it all boils down to what your definition of rare is. A one of a kind? No, but they are off of the beaten path.
