Axis SS pick ups

GOnna finally see my (new to me ) red quilt ASS this weekend (after nearly three months of waiting).

I have an SG with an SD 59 in the neck and a JB in the bridge.

Question. Are the pup´s in the ASS a lot hotter than the SD´s¿¿¿¿

I'm sure they'll be hotter. Having said that, they aren't that hot for "modern" pickups. They handle high gain very, very well and still pull off a classic PAF vibe when necessary. Over all, they are my favorite stock pickup out there.

I'd be shocked if you don't love them. (although some folks don't...???)

I think I´m going to be a happy camper.

With the 5way I´m thinking it will be great with my MKIV.

I just wanted to be sure.
