axis ss piezo problemo. help-o!

i'm having a prob with my piezo pups. the vibrating strings make a buzzing sound, kinda like a bad fuzz tone thru the amp. when i get the string going, and then apply a little finger pressure on the saddle it stops. when i let off, it buzzes again until the string stops vibrating. i have 10's on. the bridge is blocked down tight. relief is good, action is good. new battery. everything is great, 'cept the piezo. anybody else have this prob? got a solution?

i had a passing thought, that there may be some side to side motion on the saddle, and that cutting a groove in the saddle might help.......or maybe heavier strangs...........thoughts?
