Axis SS with HSS gone, why??

Am thinking of getting one of these but see they are not in production any longer. Why?

Also thinking of getting one with the P90 type pickups and would like to hear what people think of it.

The reason why we discontinue a product line always comes down to how much profit it contributes. The Axis SS w/ the HSS was really low in sales so we took it off the market. The Siloutte Special now has the HSS pick-ups and is also a great guitar. You can get the AxisSS with the MM90s, which is made after the P90s but the MM90s feature a hotter and brighter signal with less hum than the P90s ever had. The original Axis only offers the 2 humbucking option

hey man, if your looking for a axis sport with H-S-S watch on ebay. i saw a mint one in trans green with cream pickgaurd and G&G hardcase go for $500 a steal on that fine guitar. watch for them, they pop up here and there.
