Axis Super Sport 6 position Switch ?

Hey Everyone , I just played a Trans Gold Quilt top Axis SS NOS that had a 6 position
switch. Beautiful guitar ! Brand new guitar last years model. Was there 6 way switching on the small dot Super Sports? All positions worked well!

Never heard about that ... what did the extra switch position do?

It for sure changed the tone. At first i thought maybe it was modded, But it's brand new old stock. I'll surely post more about it tomorrow after i play around with it more. Is it possible someone was being super nice and wired an easter egg for me?
