Question Axis super sport semi mhollow PUPU height

Hi people, I have just received a used Axis semi hollow, the guitar is fabulous everything I wanted, but I have one question, what distance from the strings should the pick ups be ?

Axis PUPS do not have height adjustment, but my other two solid body axis PUPS are much closer to the strings than this new semi. And I feel that the semi's performance is a little "grey" especially on neck position.

On the case Kevin, Used it last Saturday, gonna use it tonights gig and next week also. Its the transition from Piezzo to body PUPs that works for me everytime.
