I did something yesterday in prep for my gig this morning. It was a first, for reasons that I have no clue about. First some background.

Having read this forum before performing again (remember, I went 25-30 years without even playing guitar after my garage band years) I took to heart "always bring a backup guitar!". For our rehersal, I just brought a light semi-hollow because.....well.....it's light and I'm lazy and my neck hurts. So a couple nights ago, I start practicing the set with the Mp3 and decide that the semi-hollow is completely different in every way from the ASS MM90 and I better get something else to bring since I'm using the whammy bar on 2 songs. (hold in there, I'm going somewhere with this). So I do one song with the headphones, mp3 through my pedal with the ASS. Then I do it again with the Axis. Wow......what a difference in sound. For the set I was doing the ASS MM90 was just perfect. No....I mean it sounded even better than the Axis (those are words I never thought I'd ever speak). I have gained a new appreciation for this guitar that I had been planning on possibly selling when I got the Axis. No more.

So.....if you don't already own an ASS with MM90s.....you MUST buy one.

That's all I wanted to say today.

:D

Yes indeedy, I have two of them, just fabulous sounding guitars. The only down side for me is that there's nowhere to hide my inept sloppy playing with those MM90s...

It's funny but everytime I read the name Axis Supersport MM90 I keep thinking of some very fast sportsbike, you know like... Kawasaki Ninja or Suzuki GSXR lol Axis Supersport MM90 is such a motorbike name, gets me all the times. :D

back on topic
