Hey everyone!!

I'm soon gonna join the club! Just ordered a EBMM Axis! Can't wait to get my hands on it.

There's something about the tremolo that I didn't mind too much before ordering but that I'd like to know...

What does " MusicMan® Floyd Rose licensed locking tremolo with fine tuners - lowers pitch only" mean??

Is it that it's set up so that the tremolo only goes down (fattening the pitch) and that it's at rest with the body when not used? Or is it something with the fine tuners themselves??

Any info would help!
Cheers

yes it will only lower the pitch. likes its big brother the evh it rest flat on the body and will only lower the pitch. i dont like floating personally cause i rest my hand on the bridge. the evh/axis is the only guitar for me. now all i need is a sport with 3 single coils and hope it dosent have the pickguard.

ok!! Thanks for the info!
Actually, I also prefer that it rest's on the body... for tuning stability and I just don't pull on the bar that much anyway.

I was just worried that maybe the fine tunes only went one way...

Why? Because I've heard that when tunning is much better to tune up to pitch that down because when tunning up the string is getting wound and when tunning down there's a chance that the string didn't really unwould properly so after some bending it would settle and go out of pitch. And I was wondering if the fine tuners were designed to 'force' us to tune in a certain way...

But I see that's not the case... also, I didn't noticed it when I tried it out ;-)

Again, thanks for the reply!
