Axis Wiring

Has anyone here modded the standard wiring on an axis so the middle position of the 3 way is the same set-up as a JP?

can it be done? if so, how? anyone got any diagrams they could share?

Super Sport does it. With an Axis you'd need a different 3-way switch (the one in the JP).

Give 'em a call. They'll let you know whether it'll fit in the body (assuming depth isn't a problem). After that, you could just follow the JP wiring diagram.

I believe that the JP 3-way switch is nearly identical to the DiMarzio Three Position On/On/On 4PDT Pickup Selector Switch, which I have used to solve this very problem.

Pretty much as wolfbone has stated, the DiMarzio EP1111 switch will do the job.

On my recent DiMarzio fitment frenzy, I added one of these 3 way 4 pole switches.

There is an online dealer down south in the UK who has them for sale on ebay.

A trusted seller, I have bought a few things from the chap.

A quality little switch it is too, I reckon.

It has a nice fluid action, but locates very well.
