HELLO to all you weirdos :D

I must firstly say 'alright guvnor' to Spud, Foggy, Tiffs, Bungo and of course the big guy upstairs.....Sterling not God ;)

Well God too actually....anywayz

I have been laughing, crying and staring in disbelief at your threads for ages now and wifey keeps telling me to sign up so here I am. It was this wonderful forum that introduced me to the sight of a guy called Chuck. who sported a very nice Bongo but not much else:eek: ..and I always thought that until I actually OWN an EBMM guitar it would be downright WRONG to be a member...but hey, Azzy didnt get a Sterling for 18 months :D And as for Foggy......;)

After playing that tasty cherryburst AL at DaveB's shop I have come to the conclusion that I do not want to play any other type of guitar. Stratkillers all the way!!!

Im currently trying to figure out the specs for my first EBMM...and then of course I have to choose the colour...EEEEEEEEK...too many choices:p

Must go...have a wife to annoy...he he :D

Aww Tiff honey thankyou for making sure his first ever thread on a forum does not go unanswered :D

I may however have something to say about the ahem, "better half" comment... I think someone needs to remind him what side his bread is buttered!!!!

He will of course, never match my post count mwah ha ha ha ;)

Now we can officially welcome you to the forum!!!
Great stuff Trevor.

The Al is a killer axe. I'm about 90% sure it'll be my second EBMM.

I won't put any bets out there yet, since I still have to get my Dargie in hand.
But who knows, maybe a race for the AL! :p

Welcome Mr. Wazzy

You can always go all out and get the new Blue Dawn AL. There by covering all of the relevant bases

a) Sparkles
b) Limited
c) best guitar ever

Yeah, that about covers them. :D

would seriously love a Dargie AL... although....I have just been looking at the Blue Dawn 07's mbgreene and I know it would be awesome on an AL!!! Does anyone know if you can get maple necks on the LEs?

Am looking forward to lusting over the guitar pics thread..ha ha

The AL is standard with a maple neck and no rosewood option. The only exceptions were the 2006 Black/gold LE and the Dargie all models of which were made with rosewood.

The Blue Dawn LE should follow the standard neck options. The teaser 2007 inlay was shown on a maple neck so that will not be an issue. Unless something not previously disclosed comes out of NAMM, The BD AL will be maple.

Thanks for that mbgreene - you've got me to thank for that dopey question - I was panicking as I hadn't seen any pics of the LEs with maple necks (apart from the teaser) - told him he should check!!!

Thankyou :) May have to ping Dave for a quote... ;)

Trevor,

It should look similar to Mr.Dubaldo's Al, except it will now have the 2007 LE inlay at the 12th fret.

As for the race, no worries mate. As much as I'd love to be, I'm in no rush. It'll probably be a year before I get my number 2.
When my Dargie Silo gets here, I will be spending a lot of time getting to no her. :)

Alrite mate

The AL of MY dreams would be claret and blue...have tiny hammer inlays and be signed by hammers legends...LOL

The boys drew 2-2 at newcastle although we deserved more:mad:

Im sure me & Azzy will be visiting my family in Mountain Ash this year so maybe I can get my grubby mits on your AL.....just kidding :)

Not necessarily. - Unless of course the twin coil could be split.
Also the bucker is mounted parallel to the bridge whereas the Single coil is angled on the "normal" AL.

Don't get me wrong, it probably sounds awesome, but I already have a guitar with 3 vintage 'buckers" !! ;)
