What's up people! I stoped by Guitar Center today to check out some more amps, since I am on a quest for the RIGHT one. I have a Spider 2 now, but I really am disliking it more and more. I mean it's good for what it is, but JUST yesturday after like 2 years I was able to get a "decent" distortion on it from ALL those settings. Anyway, I saw a B-52 AT212 Combo at the GC, and also a LUKE which has been there for like the past 3 months. The amp sounded pretty damn good, and the LUKE I am just speechless. It was my second time playing on the LUKE and the B-52 sounded awesome with it. I was there playing for like hour and a half tweaking and playng and jamming. However I had no idea that I was there so long just playing, until the guy came and said that was enough lol. So I cant wait when I get the LUKE! Have any of you guys played the B-52 amps, and do you think it would be worth it getting the combo, or a head in the long run. Plus they are pretty cheap. The combo is I think like around 800 and the head I think 700, which is weird, but anyway. It sounded good, and definatly better than the digital Line 6. So once again I have NO idea which amp I am gonna get. I am stuck on the Carvin V3 head, PEavey JSX head or combo, and now this B-52. Just thought I would share :D .

P.S. THE LUKE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

Someone once posted (can't remember who) that they felt the Luke guitar molds itself to sound good with just about any amp.

Maybe wait until yours comes in so you can take it around to demo amps in other stores.

Keith, I think that the quote makes sense, because it played well with a Line 6 as well when I played it the first time.

Shreder, thanks for letting me know you had the amp. At this point I still dont knwo what it's gona be, but it sounded good. By the way what kinda cab did you have with the B-52 head?

I had two cabs..first I just had a 2x12 vetta 2 extension cab..then I had a gflex 2x12..those recordinds were with the gflex...

I liked how it sounded thorough the at-100 4x12 cab in guitar center the best though
