This question is directed towards BP or any member of the EBMM braintrust who may care to shed some light on this for me.

Seeing as how the 20th Anniversary Silo and Steve Morse Y2D are so popular among EBMM enthusiasts and guitarists/musicians in general, was the BFR line inspired by the success of these two models? Or did you folks have the BFR idea already in motion and just waited and perhaps used the Y2D & 20th as a kind of test run?

Great question needs not be buried among the fodder:)

The Bfr was a combination of many things One the anniversary instruments proved that if we offered something special there would be a market for them. Two the forumites get tortured regularly with things they can never own and bfr gives thema chance....three it is just more fun to create a marketing outlet for oneoffs and semi customs
