Well. that was just the BFR Axis prototype. That may not be what the final model will look like.

Why not?
Could be a viable option surely?

It's JP's custom bridge, I don't think you're going to see it on another guitar anytime soon. Your options on the Axis models are the hardtail, the vintage trem, and the Floyd Rose.

I'd love to see that trem on more guitars... it makes the floyd totally obsolete.

I will say though, MM's vintage trem also makes a floyd obsolete (at least I think so)

the basic trem is the same with the jp the plate and cover is different. JP's bridge is for JPS guitar.

BFR's are whaqtever we want them to be they are more like one offs exept for the JP f1

Does that mean we can place "custom" orders through our dealer or just wait and see what BFR's they get? Either way I think the BFR's are great!

Any chance we'll ever see an Axis with a rosewood neck and a maple top???

As BP said, the BFRs are going to be whatever they want to make and sell. We'll have the opportunity to buy them if they announce that they are for sale. They most probably are going to be something you cannot "customize" with either specific options or option deletions unless EBMM chooses to make said options available. For example, the Luke BFR has no piezo. JP BFR comes with JP inlays and piezo, and you have no choice to delete a specific option. Another example: you cannot choose quilt or flame.

So, I guess the thing to be said is BFR is not a custom shop kind of thing where you can order whatever the heck options or woods you want.

I think a BFR Axis supersport would be fantastic. I would like to see one available in the same finishes as the F-1, with an all mohagany body and neck. Les Paul killer anyone?

I dont know why they dont offer a silo speical bfr, I think its a necessity, just like the luke but with passive pups and the silo neck of course - I think that would be a great seller, all the suhr and TA guys would love them and me as well :D
