Ernie Ball Silhouette Bass Day 4…getting somewhere now. This new idea has Bari on the left the adds Bongo Bass and finally EB Morse guitar on right so you can hear how the bari blend with other stuff in a swampy Southern rock thang.

Yes this opens up alot of possibilities. Can't add one to the wishlist just yet though. :D I hugely dig what I'm hearing here.

Thanks guys! This thing is soooo much fun. Really killer tone options too. I love how it sounds in this more typical rock range of tones.

Beej, I dunno about the word "greasy" - given the song title.

wow, that Baritone is mighty !!! The Morse in rhythm is very small/weak against it :)

But great as always, thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys. ;)

that is a very tasty riff dude and the rest of the tune is awesoem ....what key is the baritone tuned to ?

It's an A baritone. But, with a reasonable setup on it you can even tune the sucker down from A to G with no saddle adjustments, although I'm happy with it in A. Feels really good there. Here it is just a rock-type riff off the D (5th) string. It's really cool as there is a 5 position swith and then a two position knob that throws them all out of phase and reduces the output. So, you really get what sounds like a de-tuned humbucker gutiar, then all the classic goingey-goingey tones too - 10 in total.

Banjoplayer! lech mich am...no, just kidding :D Seriously, the Morse guitar should sound thinner since it is played a full octave higher. I'll definitely come back to this song idea and re-work for some melon action. I can hear a whole Dregs-y kind of orchestration on it.
