Bass Central- experiences with them?

I was looking at sites to order a JP6 from when I have enough money, and I came across Bass Central. I've heard good things about them, so I was wondering what experiences you have had with them. They are having a discount on most of their Music Man stuff, which is one of the reasons I might be buying from them.

Why is Dave LaRue on the home page? Is he one of the owners?

Absolutely perfect! I bought my Desert Gold JP7 from them. After my local dealer failed to even return my call on availability and pricing for one (they called me back a month later), I decided to take my business elsewhere. I contacted Dan at Ernie Ball and he found me the exact guitar I was looking for at Bass Central. I called them up and about 3 days later, it was in my hands.

Why is Dave LaRue on the home page? Is he one of the owners?

I have not a clue but the other guy, Beaver Felton, who is also shown on the home page owns Bass Central. He is the ****ing man! He is the first guy I spoke to when I ordered my guitar and was incredibly helpful. He wasn't in a hurry to just sell me the guitar and actually took the time to answer all of my questions. At the time, I was unsure about buying a JP7 for I had only played a JP6. He assured me that if I wasn't happy with it, I could return it for a refund, providing I paid return shipping. He also mentioned that hasn't had one Petrucci model come back due to an unhappy customer.

Take my word for it, if you don't have a dealer locally that you can support or if they don't have what you are looking for, buy from Bass Central.
