Hi All,
I've seen a few Bass Central links on some forum signatures. Anyone willing to share their experiences with ordering guitars from there?
Thanks,
J

I've spoken with Grasshopper at Bass Central a couple times, but never actually purchased from them.

I think Phil got his Dargie JP's from Bass Central...

I've purchased from them in the past and had absolutely no problems at all. Beaver and Grasshopper were great to deal with. Love their website as well..

I bought both my Dargie BFR's from there and it was the best buying experience I've had anywhere. Beaver & Grasshopper are two of the nicest, most genuine guys you could deal with. When I ordered my Dargie 7, I was telling Beaver about how I wanted the 6 as well but didn't know if I could swing both. I put the order in for my 7 and Beaver put in the order for my 6 on good faith and gave me as much time as I needed to pay it off. Excellent shop and I highly recommend them.

I ordered my second MM from them... I spoke to Beaver every time, and he would chat, answer questions, and was all around a very cool guy to talk to... and if you haven't heard him play bass you are missing out.

I don't think I ever called the place and Beaver wasn't there, and when I talked to someone else, it seemed inevitable that Beaver would end up on the phone since he was the first guy I talked to. It never felt like someone would try to pretend they knew something they didn't. If another guy answered the phone and could help me, I didn't feel like... "well crap, I just need to call back when Beaver is there so I can get some answers." It seems like that is a common feeling with a lot of places.

Since that guitar was being paid for by insurance, I didn't know when the check was coming... Beaver told me not to worry and that I should order the guitar that was already on order, and just pay for it whenever the check came. It turns out that saved me about 2 months in total wait time. Things like that don't happen every where folks. Of the handful of dealers known to be fantastic (Dubaldo, GP, etc.) Bass Central is definitely in that group in my experience.

Oh also...Emails were always QUICKLY answered.

There's one thing that I really dig about Bass Central, and thats when you put a deposit or payment on a guitar (even if its $50 or $100), you get an updated invoice emailed to you immediately. I love that. It makes it so simple to keep track of how much you owe on a guitar and whatnot. The customer service there is top notch.

Texas Finally!
We are lucky to have killer EBMM dealers on this fourm.

And Bass Central is one of them, Beaver is great, and yes they have good stock, quick email response and can always get ahold of them.

I have done a couple deals with them and Beaver really helped me out on the Amethyst BFR Luke I bought to honor my deceased Mom.

So yes recommended:)

I have been dealing with BassCentral for over 10 years, and to sum it up they are the best. They made it easy for a 15 year old with a subway salary to afford my very first stingray 5. I wish i still had that bass.

Call Beaver, He'll hook you up.

I ordered both of my BFR's from them and it was the most painless experience ever. I will continue to buy all my Music Man guitars through them, it was THAT GOOD of an experience.

My hat goes off to everyone at that shop, they really treat their customers with respect and are very helpful.

+1 for Bass Central

+1.
