Bass Flat wounds short scale only?

Why wouldn't music man put on the front of the packaging that the flat wounds bass strings are only for short scales. I just wasted $35
They are generally 34in scale (long scale) unless otherwise stated, usually as part of the package.
30 & 32in (short and medium) are not that common.
Shoot customer service an email with a photo of string package they are pretty helpful

Hi Dan.Raw, The Ernie Ball Flatwound strings are 48 inches long with a taper at 37 1/4 inches, which is considered long-scale. If you feel like your strings were defective, shoot me an email at [email protected] and we'll help you out.
