Bass output

Hi Guys,
I have a 92 SR5 and a 96 SR5 Fretless, I notice when I use both at a gig that the out put from the 92 is louder than the 96 are there any adjustments on the pcb to make them the same. I also play with the volume flat out.

Is the pickup height the same? How about fresh batteries in both basses? A fretless is going to be a tad quieter regardless, but check these to minimalize the difference.

Also, different string types and gauges tend to render different output. Thicker gauge equals more output and stainless steels are generally a bit louder than nickels in my experience.

Both basses have fresh batteries and the
strings are the same guage I will have to check the pick up height.
