I guess I'll be back and forth to L.A twice in one week...first to see Luke at the Roxy, and then to see BP and friends at BPL. Gonna be a busy music month...David Crowder, U2, Lincoln Brewster, Steely Dan, Luke, Adrian Belew, and BPL all in the same month!! Looks like I'll have to miss SMB this time around. Seeing this, I almost regret that I spent all of this year's bass and vacation money on the 25th HH. Damned. That's what I get for spontaneous shopping: A great bass and nice calm weekend at home with old friends -- when I could have gotten a great bass and a nice loud weekend in L.A with new friends!

I was a bass player live last year in LA. It was a great event (even though EBMM wasn't there.) Anyone who attends this year is in for a treat! Last year it was bass overload! This year with participation from EBMM I’m sure it will be bass overload X2! For all those who will attend all I can say is ……lucky!

Yea, but instead you'll be hosting what is sure to be an incredible clinic with Steve and Dave. Who'da thunk there would be two great EBMM events on opposite coasts on the same day! Wish I could be there Pete! Hopefully I'll see you at NAMM.
