How can someone have 700 posts here and not know how to setup their instrument? Methinks that less time posting = more time to learn about bass setup.

I'd like to say something here, but again, my therapist says I can no longer participate in questions and/or threads about setups.

You'd think that all of the typing involved in 700+ posts would impart at least a minimal working knowledge of grammar and spelling.

Jub's command of the English language =

I'm sure his bass playing is better

I've been part of this forum for quite a while and I was here for the whole Nick thing.
I don't post that much because I prefer to read the posts and just give my 2 cents here and there. I don't repeat the same questions and make annoying remarks. I think Jubs is doing a pretty good job of that. I don't mean to pile crap on Jubs but am I the only one that thinks the kid should listen/read more and say less?

Sorry if I'm out of line

Jubjub, buy this book...

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0879306017/102-5660410-3719362?v=glance"]Amazon.com: How to Make Your Electric Guitar Play Great (Softcover) (Guitar Player Book): Erlewine Dan, Dan Erlewine: Books[/ame]

Seriously, just buy it.

And read it.

You will not regret it.

In fact, everyone should buy it.

OK - quit railing the fella now. It's getting like 'another' forum here....

Jubs - hope you found what you needed.

For what it's worth, I don't find Jubjub annoying at all. My sense of humour may not always coincide with his, but that's okay... my sense of humour is crap anyway.

just needing help with your action is really general. its basically like saying that you want new shoes without saying size or color.

1. What bass do you have?
2. What style do you want to play?

i have a sterling

and i play all kinds of styles, but as one of the oter threads says my left hand is killing me so im lowering the action from like 1/4 to hopfully 1/8 or 1/16

but since no one wants to give me the site, that talks about truss rod adjustment and action adjustment ad such.

well if you can help it would be great
