Its all up to you but the way i see it, if you fix this scar now mayebe in another month you'll make a new one.... and youll keep on going. and with buffing ect. Chances to make it worse are there. So i would leave it as it is. Deffinetly if resale value is not an issue. A quick fix for black guitars is black nail pollish but for colours it is allmost impossible to match it up. Also this is a fix that will remain verry visible so only hides the scars or dings from a distance. If you want a mint guitar after 20 years, then dont play it. If you want to use a guitar for what its made for, then scars are a part of it. As much as i try to keep my basses as clean as possible, after a few gigs there are allways dings and scars to be discovered afterwards.

Exactly this. I prefer to buy a used instrument with a couple of battle scars on it already. That way I can relax a bit more and have more fun with the instrument. The first dink always hurts the most.

There are some real morons roaming this globe.... the other day at a show, one of the bass players in another band walked in, dragging his bass over the ground. Really, so happy it was only an ibanez and not a ebmm or he would have been in some real trouble :p i still dont know if he wanted to act "cool" or rellic his bass but in both casses he failed misserably! I really couldnt give that guy anny credit on is playing after seeing this even if he had awesomme playing skills (wich wasnt the case)

BTW if it makes you feel any better cuz they
say mizzree luvz kumpknee ......

I've got verrrry many basses with various dings
and in my flock all ... everlast muvvukkin uno ...
of their dings come from doing something really
stoopid and or not paying enuf attention. Every
dagblasted one, zero exceptions !

I have tried, lordnose I have tried, to find a smart
way to ding a bass, especially to do it smartly and
while paying attention, too ! Parently I'm just too
dumb to find a smart way to do it. Uncle. I give.
