Ive had Wals and I don't miss them, except for the design and craft. The rays and bongos take care of all the tone I need.

the piezo tone adds a ton to the fretless aspect.

i can't imagin using it a lot on a fretted instrument, but it's possible, the best sound so far is 70%magnetic 30%piezo, this gives the clarity and punch of the magnetic, while having the fullness of the piezo.


worth the extra few bucks IMO...

I've heard this from quite a few folks. I gave it a quick test-drive and decided it was a must for me.
