For yet another convert who found the religion of EB this weekend. I took my Petrucci and Axis to a friends house to jam and he has come away a changed man. Alright so he was whining like a baby when I left. 
He realized that while his PRS and Gibsons are nice guitars in their own right, there was something else out there that made him sit back, grin and say Holy ****!!!
He couldn't believe the tones that he could get from the EB's when A/B'd with his PRS, and the piezo really blew him away. He's used to playing 11's on all of his guitars and had a tough time at first with the 9's on the Axis, but once he found his fingers he was just floored.
About 6 hours later he was groveling to his wife about how he *had* to have a Petrucci. Actually it may have been a toss up between that and the Axis, but he's a big Petrucci fan so I'm sure he'll look for one of those first. And it will probably have to be a Blue Dawn, he loved the color of the Axis.
He'll probably show up here in the few days trying to track down a Blue Dawn Petrucci, so go easy on him, forgive him for not seeing the light until now.
