I have one like it - but mine is not for sale (nor will it ever be)...Hookpunch said:If it is yours, why are you selling such a beauty? That is a work of art. I didn't see it on your web-page.
By "state" I presume you mean sovereign and independent nation (as we seem compelled to demonstrate repeatedly), as opposed to the 50-some-odd geopolitical entities to the south of us that make up our nearest neighbour?ernie1966 said:our Jimi D hails from the great northern state of Canada

And if you didn't see it on my website, you weren't looking very hard:

Combine a Swamp Ash body with really, really nice single coil pickups and... well, they can pretty much cop any Strat tone you want, and do a little more besides... Pete Prown, in his Jan. '98 Guitar Shop review of the Axis Sport with 3 single coils said:ArthurS said:A bit late for a response, but how close do these things sound to a Strat?
I love my SSH Axis Sport, and am actively looking for a three single-coil model to add to my collection...But the real standout attractions on the body are the DiMarzio single-coils that were wound for this guitar. They are so well-vioced for this ash-bodied guitar, it's scary. Running through a variety of amps, the Axis Sport sounded superb, especially for clean work. Ash tends to have a fat bottom-end and somewhat bell-like tones, and this Axis didn't disappoint in that regard. Both the neck only and neck/middle pickup combinations really caught my attention for fatness adn warmth. I can't think of many other solidbodies that sound this good on the clean settings. In fact, if you go to the neck pickup and bring the tone knob down a dash, you can play any jazz gig on the planet, solidbody or not. Bravo, Ernie Ball.
