Hi,

I'm about to take my Les Paul to the shop for a set-up in C# tuning (all strings 1.5 steps down) and I'm wondering which strings (EB, obviously) I should ask them to put on it. I'm leaning towards Beefy Slinkys at the moment. What do you guys think? Anybody else tune down to C#?

Thanks.

C# rocks

Hey, I also play in C# standard (Drop B sometimes) on the bass, I don't have much experience on using that tuning on guitar but I actualy tune up a step and a half on the bass. I love it because I can get my action really, really low and the Bongo plays even faster.:D Regular EB's imo are the best strings to use for whatever tuning.

I use beef slinky for C and they feel great.. almost like 9's in standard tuning.

I have my Ibby in C# with straight 11's on it. I don't use ernie's however.
