I was thinking of going up string gauges and taking my guitar in for a set up while I'm at it.

For those of you who have used both sets, which set did you prefer and why?

The Beefy Set goes from (11-54) while the Power Set goes from (11-48).
I usually play from drop d to standard. Is there any advantage to the wider variety of string gauges that the beefy set uses?
