So how did it go? :D

Sorry, I have been extremely busy the last few days.

The show went VERY well and it was such a blast. We got to the club that let us play in and found out the sound man was sub par at best....but, we got him through it without a hitch...I had to help Cody (our singer) get Courtney from the hospital. Some of you know me very well and just being around them brings back some bad memories, but seeing her just full of life and ready to go brought a big smile on my face. We got her to the club, but we unfortunate in not being able to see the first band. They did an acoustic set and we were told it was very good. They understood the situation and gave Courtney a CD of their tunes. My band got set up and got the sound check done....bit painful, but done none the less. Cody (singer) made some announcements and then proceeded to have Courtney come up to the front. Cody and I presented to Courtney all the picks and the pickguard you guys sent in. We told her who it was from and where it was from. Just to let her know there are people all over the world who was wishing her well. The tears of joy was pouring out of her....she is such a wonderful person! Our band threw down the only way we know how...HARDCORE! The place really got into it and it was a lot of fun. We raffled off some really cool stuff (my wife...CINCHouse even won something...lol)...but, it was all good. Courtney had a ball and was smiling from ear to ear the whole time. I walked away a better person and each and everyone of you should feel the same!

My old band that doesn't gig anymore played a bunch of songs for Courtney Sat. Night. We had a blast and it had to be because of her.

Every song went out to Courtney and we did some Pink Floyd we didn't used to do and it was God like.

We (my bandmates) wish her well and the quickest recovery.

Koogie thanks for showing us there are things that are more important than the music.
