Hey ska, just because you don't have an EBMM don't mean that you aren't family. As long as you're not a prick (LOL), you're welcome here as often as you like. If you were offended/tripped out a la my response "I know...I get that all the time", well, I'm just speaking fact. People DO look at me in a confused fashion...must be my beautiful baby blues.
No one walks right into an EBMM, bro...I started on a POS guitar in 1988 that had some weird grounding issues that I was (well, still am!) too stupid to know how to fix, then a Hohner headless/Steinberger rip (hey, it was cool!) I didn't get my first EBMM until July of 1992. Then, after selling it 5 years later, reacquiring one was not until 2002. I was extremely blessed to have 3 up until recent, but I still count my blessings with 2.
You'll get there, and I hope you hang out with us. Maybe our singing about EBMM will keep it fresh in your mind so that when the time comes, you don't defect to some other crazy brand, or run off and buy an EVH Art Series.
dont worry about the evh. i dont find it to be that attractive. if i did get an mm it would probably be a petrucci. on a lighter note, you started playing guitar the year i was born. intresting huh? and i was not offended at all. just being weird. you guys are gonna have to sing pretty loud to get me to buy a guitar before i get a stingray. but maybe one day....
oh well then, your electric playing started the same year i was born. that better? cmon jon, do tell. and to tell you the truth(lets keep this here) i play my guitar just as much as my bass. now im taking lessons for my bass, but ive had my guitar longer, and i play it just as much. and i look around for guitar stuff as well as bass stuff. so i guess im kinda half and half with just a wee bit more bass, but mostly becuase i know what im doing on it more than my guitar. if only they had a guitar spot in orchetrsa things might be different.
