Ok this one is $1125, but its worth it. A Gallien-Krueger 700RB 2x10 combo. 380 watts by itself, or 480 watts with an extension cab. You can get one used for under a grand. Good sounding, versatile combo.

I just checked out that link. It looks like a great amp with cool features. So do you really like the amp? Does it seem reliable and solid?

Oh yeah it's solid and I really enjoy the tone. I take it for small to medium things when I don't want to drag my Mesa rig out of the church and it performs very nicely.

And I've got an Avatar 1x12+Horn cab that I can add as an extension speaker and it really makes a great sounding little system. I put casters on mine 'cause although it's very small it is also very heavy. Best value for a good combo amp that I know of. :D

You can find used SWR super redhead combos for around 700 bucks in good top shape! They are capable of being bridged to 2 ohms. They are great sounding top notch amps!! :D

i actually have an Ampeg BA-210SP that im trying to unload. more than enough for the home and enough for gigs. 220 watts, 2 10s, and an effects section that in my opinionn isnt that bad. does the ampeg svt sound pretty damn well. it can also pull out a killer slap sound. actually it can do pretty much anything you want it to. its a workhorse. i bought it for 700 and had it for a year and im looking to get 550 out of it. its only got light marks on the corner protectors, other than that its flawless. let me know what you think.

I've been an Ashdown user for about 7 or 8 years now.

Originally had a 4x10 (plus horn) combo - great amp. Heavy though (about 180lbs!)
