I dont know what you guys think, but I brought my guitar to this guy named tommy, in Delaware. My guitar was in real bad shape, I didnt think he would be able to fix it. He messed around with it for a bit to no avail. Then he brought me out into his garage/lab and worked some magic these eyes have never quite seen before. He was doing all this weird voodoo s'eance stuff man it was really freaking me out to be honest. He even made me stand outside. I thought he might be kind of an oddball until he finally let me back in and my axis played like butter for the first time since it was out of the factory. I dont know what the deal is with repairguys for EB, but if anyone on the eastern seaboard is having axis troubles see this guy I am telling you. He said he comes on here from time to time but I havent really been around to see or thank him but thank you tommy!

didn't someone ekse aroud here have plek issues ?????

Was me Tommy, well I have to say it´s been 3 years ago and the guy who did it
didn´t really know what the machine does and can´t do at that time.
It could not do Floyd radius combined with compound fretboard radius (Tom Anderson) at that time. The shop is gone , so I didn´t have to send my Al Kaida friends over there to plek his anus to 7,5" vintage radius.

I talked at the Frankfurt music fair to the plek people and they were very helpful and offered me a free measurement again since the program has upgraded a lot.
And they save every guitar data ever made. So the next time I´m in berlin I go straight to them and stand close to my guitar and watch carefully.

Since I do own a repair shop myself - I wanted to give the machine a try and maybe install one in my shop to, but I think I trust my hands more.
The polish of the frets is perfect but the problem is the person in front of the machine.

Mick

What was the prob of the guitar mentioned above????

the fret dressing itself was actually very good.
ironically......the setup after the fretwork was way wacked. plus it wasn't just one obvious aspectof the setup............ it was a little off at all points .....so it was a little tricky narrowing it all down & getting the guitar in balance . it's very happy now though. i had a long talk with it , and all is forgivin . i think that's the point where joe got a little spooked !!!! it's now terrified of robots though......
