Guys & for those of you who have helped me in the past thank you.

I have found a original EVH Trans Gold serial number 87619 it has the plastic on the back cover plates.

The neck looks like it was made yesterday.

The case is mint, has all tools, springs in plastic, paper work and the original paper work of purchase.

So I look at it and say, is this real, I havent seen one that good and I`ve been looking for 1 yr now.

Can anyone advise what yr and what should I pay US for this???????

Will post of site when I pick it up Ozevh

I would guess $2.5-3k if it's in true MINT condition. Maybe more but realistically, $3k is probably the ceiling.

Keep in mind I don't have my finger on the pulse of the market. But my EVH is used in good shape, I am the original owner and don't believe I could get much over $2k for it. That's my reference.

Good luck.

Hbucker, are you thinking of selling? I'm down if you're interested. PM me.

Not sure on what you should pay for it - but I know how much it's worth. It's the principle of "supply and demand"!

Let's do this; what if that guitar is brand new (from the factory) and was simply stored away up until now - it's "brand new" .

Now let's put it on E-Bay. That guitar is going to fetch at least $7,500.00 (there are people out there with the "money is no object" convenience for their hobby and activities). That is probably going to be the buyer for that guitar.

Just like a painting, a Bond's baseball or anything else with scarcity/demand.

So, if this guitar is basically sittin' right about there, you may have to compete with "certain" people on it.

Post the serial # request in here :

http://www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-guitars/3830-important-my-ernie-balls-serial-184.html

You won't get an answer until late tonight at the earliest, due to the time difference (It's still Sunday in EBMM land).

PS : With a thread title like that it's gonna have to be pretty good ! - there's some awesome EVH's out there. ;)

Here's mine - plastic on - DEAD mint :

I reckon it's quite nice ;)

Thanks Dizzy

When I looked at it yesterday I thouight it was made then.

I have a substantial guitar collection and have been looking for a good EVH.

This one just blew me away, I asked the guy if it was fake?

he the took out all the original paper work and hence my requests on serial numbers and price.

Will post pic`s when I get it

Ah.....Dizzy.....

I've been thinking about an Axis (or EVH) and a twin to my supersport would be perfect. Too bad you're way over there....

:D

Great looking axe!

Congrats!! Sounds like a real nice one! Judging by the production date, may be amongst the last produced too ..........
