Best guitar strings for pop/punk?

I have a cheap electric guitar I bought a few months ago just to get better at guitar (I play mostly bass). It goes out of tune pretty easily, especially when playing hard and bending notes. I play a lot of pop/punk, and on my basses, I always use regular or super Slinky strings. I've never bought electric guitar strings before, but I'm guessing regular or super Slinky gauges would be suitable for playing pop/punk on guitar.

What do you guys recommend?
