lol preferably vote for the ones with the actual best necks, not the ones you own :p

Sure you're rigth, but i have an Axis Super Sport, an Axis, and a Luke, and i've played a Silhouette Special, so my favorite is the Axis Super Sport one !!! ;)

I think they're the same neck, but i don't know if it's because my Axis Super Sport has a Rosewood fingerboard instead of the Axis Maple one, but i prefer the Axis Super Sport one, it is very similar, but with a little less thickness !

Geez....what a tough question. I would say the JP for me, but, I also played an Axis and a Silo and those are perfect for me as well. I played a Luke once, didn't like it, and I have yet to play a Morse. So, I am sitting on the fence right now. I do own JP's because of the feel of the neck. So far, it is the JP, but all the others I mentioned were not bad......I'm so confused...

All the EBMM necks are marvelous so saying one is "best" is something of a misnomer, I think - it's all about shape, of course, not any difference in quality or finish (excepting the SUB1) - "preferred neck" or "favorite neck" would probably be a more accurate title, but be that as it may, I vote Axis all the way! ;)

Yeah maybe I should have ordered Axis neck on my Axis Super Sport. Darn, it's too late, the guitar has been shipped ;)

What the heck does that mean...

"The SUB 1 features the same quality and attention to detail as our other instruments, whether the innovative Bongo or the historic Sting Ray. It's a more basic model of theSilhouette Special," he explained.

it's affordable to abroad-range of consumers, and features the same quality and performance synonymous with Music Man instruments.

Axis, Axis SS and Albert Lee neck profiles

Is there any difference between the Axis, Axis Super Sport and Albert Lee neck profiles?

I'm looking for an Axis Super Sport with a rosewood fingerboard. I love the feel of the Axis SS maple neck, but it feels a bit narrow at the nut. Maybe the thick neck profile on the Axis is why it feels narrow at the nut.

BTW, I definitely don't want a slim neck, or a super flat fingerboard radius.

Someone mentioned a difference between the Axis and Axis Super Sport necks, but I'm not clear on the difference.

Any suggestions or advice is appreciated,
