For the last few months, I've been checking out the Petrucci Model, and I'm pretty interested in buying one, they have everything I want on them, so I was curious to know which dealers have the best prices? Particularly around the central NY area, or around Albany/Syracuse

Im looking for Desert Gold w/ Piezo and Matching headstock

sorry if this gets posted a lot

There is one on eBay right now. The auction has started at $1500 with no reserve. If it is in new condition like the auction says then it would be cheaper than buying one brand new. I guess it's up to you on how much you want to spend.
Petrucci in Desert Gold on eBay

nah i wouldn't pay the 1500 on Ebay....i can get one for 1600 new if i want, its 100 more, but that way its guarenteed...how much do you think they'd sell at dubaldo?

Hello Pyro, and welcome to the forum.

Well, I don't think that Desert Gold is offered anymore so
if you are dead set on that, ebay may be your only option.

Also, if you have one built, there will be a waiting period of
about 3 months or so before you get it.

I have a Petrucci model, and absolutely love it.
6 string model. Limited Edition Radiance Red with all the options.

Piezo and Matching Headstock are upgrades (along w/special inlays)
that add extra to the base price. You probably know that already
though.

Hope this helps a little,

Welcome to the addiction! Great choice of color. I saw OC's and it was smokin'. Good luck on your quest.

thanks everyone..yeah i really like desert gold, there are 3 finishes the the JP comes in that I LOVE...

Desert Gold
Mystic Dream
Gunmetal

unfortunatly...gunmetal isn't in production (at least thats what i've been told)...and mystic dream costs a pretty penny....so desert gold seems to be the best for me!

I paid $1479 US for my JP6+piezo+inlays+matching headstock in Pearl Redburst
(before 7% sales tax was added)

The dealer in my area does a huge volume of business (not necessarily with EBMM) so they have great prices on everything.. it's a local store that's been around since the late 1960's.

They beat the pants off of Guitar Center and other larger players.

new york music....

...there (look at the dealers site of MM) i bought a JP6/pz matching hedstock, inlays for 1300usd in februar (egyptian smoke) and exported it to austria/europe. they dont have a hp.

I almost bought my Pet from NY Music in Boardman, Ohio.

It's less than an hour drive from where I live. But then an area dealer gave me a better deal, so I bought it here instead.

I would certainly keep NY Music in mind, though. They had fair prices without even having to negotiate.
