This has got to be one of the best reps of what an Axis can sound like instead of 'you know who' who always ruined the tone of this awesome guitar with that crappy Peavey amp.

Great tone, but sorry, you-know-who's tone through that Peavey amp is still damn good, actually better. I still consider the Carnal Knowledge sound the quintessential tone that the Axis is made for.

nah i dont like the peavey, it was too scooped sounding. the marshall that steve stevens uses ( a plexi) sounds so so much better to my ears.

I think if ed used the marshal with his axis it would have been better than his older guitars.

+1 ....on the ray gun thingy ...and yah i LOVE Steve Stevens ...he always has cool hair!!! and great chops ...and yip that does sounds Great through the Marshall...but its hard to crap on the other guys tone ....i mean really c'mon.....i know things arent as rosey for the man as before, but hey ,his tone was bad?:eek:.....Please:rolleyes:
