I'm looking for a custom set of strings in order to be able to play in drop c and a# on the same guitar. I currently use beefy slinkys in drop c but they feel too loose and they are unplayable in drop a#. Using a string tension calculator, I figured I would use a pack of not even slinkys, with a 22 wound g and a 64 for the low e.
Basically what I am asking is if a 64 would be too thick in drop c? I like a lot of tension and need something that can handle a# as well but don't want to snap my headstock off lol.
