Help! best strings for E standard, Eb & drop d,/best strings for D standard, C# & drop c

best strings for E standard, Eb & drop d,/best strings for D standard, C# & drop c

i have 2 guitars one for e standard, e flat, and drop d tunings and another for d standard c sharp and drop c (not c standard) tunings. what are the best string for each? i was thinkin super slinkies for the e to drop d and maybe power slinkies or skinny top heavy botton fer d to drop c. please help? i really wanna make sure i git the right strings.

btw both guitars are bc rich warbeast wmd with orinigal floyd rose

it would really all depend on what you like , i use power slinkys for e flat and regular slinkys for standard E on my solid body guitars. on hollow bodies i will use not even slinky for e flat and power slinkys for E standard. youmight just have to experiment different gauges and see what suits you the best.
try the not even slinky for the d to drop c that might be good or the beefy slinkys are good too for that. we played one song tuned to drop c and the not even slinky worked great for me.

It all depends on your tastes. In any case I'd say you need AT LEAST a Hybrid set or thicker for the E/Eb and a STHB set for the D/C#.

I personally use the STHB set on my only guitar, a Silhouette hardtail in standard tuning, which I sometimes retune just for fun, and it's perfect for that.

ok. thanks yall. how do you think super slinkies would handle e standard and drop d?

Bearing in mind that dropped D means only one string is tuned down a whole tone, I reckon you could get away with using super slinky's in standard E and dropped D. The low D would be just a little on the floppy side though. If that's annoying, I'd certainly recommend regular slinky's.
