How about a price range? if you really want a very very cool 30 watt 1x12 combo, well:

The Fender G-DEC is fun and entertaining. I use it for teaching everyday. Goes for about $270. Check their website for video demos.

Hey Larry,

May I recommend the Valvetronix series from Vox. I've got the 15 watt and the thing rocks. Has its own built in programmable effects.

Here's a couple of others

Vox DA5. I know you probably don't want to go down to 5 watts but I've heard an in person demo and this thing is loud

Vox DA15. Same as the DA5 but 15 watts.

Just a few suggestions for ya.:)

Take it easy,
Scott

both the VOx 15 w/effects and the 30 Watt Roland cubes have been our best sellers xcellent value for the money you can probably get into the roland for $400.00 taxes in and the vox around $275.00 taxes in .

Ive been looking into this Crate VTX310B it sounds very good the built in effects are good for a travel amp plus it has a tuner built in. For me it seems like its a well rounded travel amp im going to take a ride to the music store and give it a go. If its not up to par im going to check out the Vox Valvetronix.
