Nice... didbs if you ever sell (or work a trade for a Blue Dawn)!!!! :D

I thought I called dibs on it somewhere else, but it turns out that I just told Paul that I hated him. Whoops.

Oh, well. If it's going to go to anyone (in the event Paul sells it), it should be with the other one off green Bongo 4s.

Assuming, you know.....he eventually sells it. I believe this is as close to a perfect Paul Bongo that I can remember, really. The only mark against it is it being a 4 string, I think.

It is really, can't wait to throw a fresh set of strings on it. As much as I liked having the single H ones, this is really doing it for me now. I think my tastes have changed a bit since I started gigging. I really think I can only gig Bongo's or the other unnamed bass that I have.

I am really starting to think about adding a Bongo 5 or 6 for a more complete package.

I certainly can't blame you. I've been in love with my single coil equipped Bongo since day one. Still my favorite Bongo tone. It's siren call almost made me trade the Dargie 5H away, but that would have been foolish, of course.

It's what my Bongo 6 will have, for certain.

Alright, I give up and am ready to feel frustrated that I didn't figure it out. What's the M in MHS?

And Congrats!

"Matching".

All of the Envy Green Bongos (except for a very few, of which this is one) were Limited Editions and came with black necks and headstocks.

Wait, the neck was black, too? I always thought it was just the front of the headstock. I never could figure out exactly where they went from green to black considering the shape.....
