I finally made it home early this morning - what a trip. Now it's my turn to thank everybody.

I'd like to add my thanks to BP, Blair and the entire EB staff for an absolutely wonderful weekend. My wife and I had a great time. This trip was the highlight of the year. Not only did I get to meet many of the folks I've been chatting with for months (like BP, Jon, Beth, Blair, Dudley, GWDavis28, SteveB, Kbaim, DaveB, ScottBass71, Oddjob, Koogie2k, Victrola, Fsmith, TommyinDelaware, PeteDuBaldo, Mobay, etc...), but I also got to play a bunch of other EBMM models - most of which I now want! :D

A few other specific notes:
- Thanks to BP for buying us lunch on Friday. The tri-tip was OUTSTANDING!
- Thanks to Luke for hanging out with us for the whole weekend.
- Thanks to Vinnie for hanging out with us for a while before the panel discussion.
- Thanks to John Ferrar for putting up with us and doing a great job both nights!
- Thanks to all the wives (or husbands) who weren't really interested but who put up with us anyway.
- My apologies to DaveB for making him chase me away from his newly acquired Mr. H.
- My apologies for thinking that most bass players are either failed guitarists or have one foot out of the band. ;);) I gained a whole new level of respect for bass players this weekend!! :D:D You've inspired me to learn to play.

And most of all, thanks to my wife, who was so impressed by Sterling's generosity that she told me to buy as many EBMMs as I want!!! :D:D:D (Now I just need to figure out how to pay for them.)

I've seen most of the pics you all posted, and although most of them put mine to shame, I've posted mine to my website for your viewing pleasure. I'd be happy to post them to a more central place once the EB team decides how they want to handle it. Also, if anyone wants higher res versions (2272x1704), feel free to PM me.

Mike,

I knew from your posts that it would be cool to hang with you. Had a great time chattin' with you at the Firestone, factory and other assorted venues.

I can't ever remember being surrounded by so much goodwill as we were that weekend. Everyone got along, nobody got too out of hand (to my knowledge), and we were treated with such benevolence.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate that! :)

It's a little strange now though. Now when I read your posts, I picture YOU rather than what I imagined you looked like before the open house. I'm a little disappointed I didn't get to meet Raz though....I still picture him as Urkel.

Well said, Koogs!

Mike - you got some nice pictures! I love the one with BP and Luke at the Firestone, also I really liked your pics of the prototypes and the swag bag stuff too. You also got some nice shots at the factory.
