Sorry guys, just the pics of the BFR 20th SR5 HH that they have already posted. I wish I could take some pics, but they kind of frown on that unless it's from the EB photographer.

Did you know that I consider EBMM basses to be legal U.S currency?
BTW, did you know that I'm a photographer at the National Gallery of Art?

Cool job! What does it involve? Photographing paintings and other art objects with perfectly color balanced lights and so on? (My mother is a painting conservator, so I kind of grew up in the museum world..)

Yup, but it doesn't pay in basses. Here's our site.
National Gallery of Art
Not all the images are mine. We have 5 photographers

Just curious --

Did you get into this from studying photography generally, or through more of a museum-track?

those jobs that pay in basses are hard to find!

I started photography at a local community college in 1985. I was in my advanced courses when a local photographer and friend of one of my teachers needed a new assistant. My teacher gave him a list of 4 or 5 of us he thought would make a good assistant. I got the gig. After a while, like 4 or 5 months, I started freelance assisting. Some wedding type stuff but mostly commercial advertising. Then the photogs I was working for started throwing me jobs they either didn't want, were too small or to busy for. So I started my pro freelance career. Then I met a photographer named Peter Harholdt - Home. He did a lot of Art and Antique photography and was very busy. I worked with him for a long time shooting catalogues for CG Sloan, Southeby and Christies. From there I went to the Smithsonian's Hirshhorn. 3 Years later in 1995 I came to the NGA.
