Yeah, looks very nice, however, 470,000 + yen is about 5 G's in USD,....ouch....thought I saw a new one just like it on EBAY for about half that....

Which is why I have been looking for an ebay international shipper. I could buy two, and sell one of them here in Japan, thereby making enough for the one I get to keep

I think he means retail dealers are not allowed to sell new EB instruments/products internationally.

I wish I could come up with a solution to the higher cost in other countries....Im going to work on that right after I balance the US Budget....

I guess it is a complex issue with regards to ever fluctuating exchange rates and the like. I've seen my salary "double" this year, if I change it from yen into British pounds. Makes no difference to me though as I still live here and pay for everything in yen

The problem is that I fell in love with EBMM guitars after getting a second hand Axis SS and I want more and I don't want anything else now

Japan is guitar crazy. You see so many people carrying them everywhere, and I'd love to see EBMM get a bigger slice of the pie here. But I'm not a businessman and don't pretend to know the answers.

But I can dream, right?
