BFR Case and questions?

Ok Folks....

I picked up my new JP-7 BFR last night....I'll post pics......don't worry!

Just a very quick question.....
Is the case the same as all Ernie Ball guitars.....the SKB style black case or did they give me the wrong one. Is there any special certificates, etc that were supposed to come with the guitar?

Just want to make sure that they sent me the right stuff....as it was, the tremolo arm was missing from the case which led me to suspect they forgot something.

HI Paul,

All BFR's ship from the factory with a G&G style case with a Expresso finish as well as a certificate signed by Sterling, Scott and Brian Ball. Where did you purchase the instrument from? Have you contacted the store yet regarding the issue yet?

Actually, I purchased it from Long-McQuade. It was near closing so I believe they gave me the wrong case out of accident.

I'll contact them first to find out what the "case" actually is and I'll contact you folks if I have any further issues. They have always been an excellent retailer in my books.

Hi Paul.....your guess is probably right on. L&M can have a high flux of salesman coming in and out....so the gentleman who grabbed the case was probably un-aware. Contact them and they should get you taken care of, you should find the certificate inside the case. E-mail me direct if you have any problems.

Definately! Make sure you get your case with all the case candy! Congrats on your purchase too - I can't wait until our Petrucci BFRs arrive!

Did you buy the one in the Mississauga store?
If so give Pat Furlan, the manager, a call. He makes sure his customers are happy with their purchases.

Mississauga L&M has a Silo, sub, Luke and a JP-7 bfr.

I've been seeing the same Silo, sub and Luke for months now.

JP 7 BRF was bought at the Missisauga store. I picked up the proper case tonight. No worries!
What an amazing axe and a beauty of a case!

This one is a keeper!
