Can anyone tell me if the BFR Guitars (the Axis specifically) come with the standard case or a special BFR case? Nothing is particularly wrong with the standard case (a one fits all kind of thing), but I saw some LE's that had a special case and thought they may do the same for the BFR.

I much prefer the standard cases to the BFR and LE cases. My experience has been that the BFR/LE cases have a weak point where the upper guitar horn comes in contact with the case pocket.

That felt covered wooden block gets dented and mangled in shipping and even careful transport.

I bought 3 form fitting SKB cases from GC some months back. Exactly like the case for a strat but these say SKB instead of Fender. Couldn't have that...though the luke fits perfectly in them.

Good idea Keith. I have been thinking about spending a little and getting Space Case (a local company) to make me a couple of ATA cases for these guitars.

Who knows what happens in transport sometimes, certainly not pegging it all on the case but I have had the same experience... That being said still loOove the design and vibe.

Give me the SKB over the heavy and delicate BFR case anyday.
